Most Sundays, Handmade Galleries will have a charity dinner from 5pm-7pm. Each patron gives whatever they want and the money raised will benefit the charity chosen for that day.

30 DAYS OF CELEBRATING BEING VEGAN
The goal of this events series is to prove
that being vegan in the L.A. area is very possible and that there is a large
vegetarian/vegan community that already exists. All of the events below have
some vegan food component at them. Not all of the restaurants and parties are
totally vegan, but they all have vegan options. Please make sure to RSVP prior
to attending any of these events to get more details and to ensure that there
isn't a time or location change. Most events REQUIRE an RSVP. If you want to
create your own vegan event during the month of September, just send an email to rsvp@positivetelevision.org and
we will try to add your event to the calendar.

Speakers can entertain, inspire, and educate us on the important causes around the world. We at Positive Television decided to create a speaker event that does all these things and teaches us about a variety of progressive topics, so we hope you will attend our event on Saturday, Nov. 4th at Animal Acres. We are sure the event will motivate you and when you walk away, you will leave with tips on how you can affect change that day, so come and learn how to make more of a difference. The talks will take place outside, one after another, and for those who want a little bit of a talk and a lot of walking, we will have tours of Animal Acres every hour, so you can meet all the animals that have been rescued. This is a great event for families with kids. Bring your blankets to sit in the grass and enjoy the event.
